My African Masks collectionAfdrican Masks african masks! Welcome to my website For a long time I was interested in tribal art specially from africa and at one time I started to collect. I specialized in masks and started to learn about the spiritual meaning of them. These spirits guide people through the varies stages of live and supervise transitions in it. A dancer in a costume with his mask on is no longer a human being but transformes into a being of a higher order and becomes that spirit. As so many collectors I could not stop but now I am running out of wall space. I restrict myself to a few tribes(dogon and luba). I had a great time collecting and hope you like them too.
